We won another two medals to add to the list

At Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen, we don't try to win awards. We just try to brew good beer. Just so happens our beer's good enough to win awards.

This year, at the 2016 New Zealand Brewer's Guild Awards held at the Heritage Hotel in Auckland, a couple of Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen brews won two bronze medals, thanks in no small part to our head brewer, Rory Main.

Sweat Shop Pilsner

Bronze medal, International Lager

Sweat Shop Oatmeal Stout

Bronze medal, Stout and Porter

Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen Managing Director, Mark Jackson, says, "It’s another great result for a small brewery like ours and I think gives us confidence in the investment we’re making into the Brewery".

These beer awards are the most widely recognised and sought after beer awards in NZ and more than 100 local and international breweries entered more than 850 beers in for judging.
